Turner Hall Interiors provides a full suite of design services to create home and professional spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Marybeth Turner and Allyson Hall draw upon their respective East and West Coast sensibilities to offer designs capturing the best of traditional and eclectic aesthetics. At Turner Hall, we believe that the most authentic and enduring designs mix traditional and whimsical elements.
Mary Beth Turner
Having grown up in Boston and lived and traveled extensively in Europe , I have come to love and appreciate traditional decor. Classic lines, gorgeous tasteful interiors with a timeless feel. As we embarked on building this company I continued my design knowledge through classes at NY Institute of Art and Design. Scale / proportion/ balance are skills needed to achieve a true aesthetic in a room. This experience and knowledge combined with designing and decorating multiple homes and keeping up with the latest design trends has given me confidence when designing interiors. I try to use customers' existing pieces but recover, refinish and add a fun twist to an overall traditional design concept. One of my priorities is really to listen to a customer's needs and work together to help them achieve a look they envision for themselves, their lifestyle and their family.
Allyson Hall
A creative at my core, I am a professionally-trained writer and self-taught artist with a love of color and whimsical pieces, old and new. My goal is to create unique interiors that reflect the essence of each individual client. I believe that a well-designed home tells the story of the unique person or people who live within its walls. When the client’s interests and passions are the focus, rather than a specific design aesthetic, the result is a fresh, unpredictable style. With every project, I aspire to weave in an element of surprise–whether it be a wallpapered ceiling, modern art in an otherwise traditional setting, or a repurposed china-cabinet-turned-display-case housing prized Lego creations in a child’s room. My strength is mixing traditional with contemporary and high-end with more affordable pieces to create a balanced, one-of-a-kind look.
